NVIDIA Corporate Campus

Santa Clara, California

Taylor Engineers provided design/build MPS services for NVIDIA's Corporate Campus, consisting of the 500,000 sf Endeavor building and the 750,000 sf Voyager building. Both buildings are cutting-edge office buildings each with a 2-story underground parking garage and a combined 90,000 sf of data labs assisted by integrated airside economizers and waterside economizers.

Each building uses an all variable speed chiller plant with series chillers, a waterside economizer, and dual temperature distribution. By supplying water at two temperatures, we minimize chiller energy use by only making water as cold as it needs to be for a given load. On the air side, underfloor air distribution serves the upper floor and mezzanine, while overhead VAV serves the lower floors. Additionally, radiant slabs ring the perimeter of the first floor as well as circulation spaces to mitigate cold downdrafts off the 3+ story tall perimeter glass walls and maximize thermal comfort.
