Dolby

San Francisco, California

Recently Dolby Laboratories moved its headquarters to the center of San Francisco, 1275 Market St. To facilitate this move Taylor Engineers assisted with a complete upgrade to all HVAC systems that serve many acoustically sensitive spaces, as low as NC-10. During this move, existing air handlers were improved through the use of efficient, redundant, and low-noise fan arrays. This project is currently awaiting LEED Silver Certification.

HVAC at Dolby Headquarters comes equipped with separate interior and perimeter systems. It also includes a primary-only variable speed chilled water plant with magnetic bearing chillers and waterside economizer.
